hereby announces
the 7th Annual Contest for the Professor František Vencovský Award

 

 

CONTEST PARTICIPANTS
This contest is intended for students of doctoral studies programs at universities in the Czech Republic and graduates of doctoral studies programs who have finished their studies within the last two years. 

 

THEME OF THE CONTEST
The theme of the contest essays covers a wide range of economic research such as economic theory, economic policy, financial markets, public finance, banking, business, trade, marketing, and more. 

 

The contest will take place in two sections:

  1. section of theoretical research with essays with an academic focus in basic and applied research, 
  2. section of practically oriented research with essays with potential application in practice in business and the public sector.

DEADLINE
Registration and essay submissions in the Czech or English language no longer than 20 pages must be submitted by 30  September 2019.

 

RANKING CONTEST ENTRIES
Essays will be evaluated by a nominations committee appointed by the rector of the University of Finance and Administration, who will decide on the winners of the contest.

 

PRIZES FOR CONTEST WINNERS
Up to three winning essays will be awarded in each section. A total financial reward of CZK 200,000 will be distributed among the winners.

Appraisal of the contest will take place on the 7th Annual International Science Conference in honor of Professor F. Vencovský at the Czech National Bank Congress Center on 15 November 2019, where notable experts and the contest winners will present.
