He studied at universities in Prague, Munich and San Francisco. He works as a partner at the law firm Štaidl Leška advokati, focusing on copyright and media law. He chairs the Czech national group of the International Association of Literary and Artistic Artists (ALAI) and works in its management in Paris. He shares his experience with students when teaching private law, intellectual property law and media law. He publishes in prestigious publishing houses (Cambridge University, Press, Kluwer Law International, Oxford University Press, Springer) and lectures on copyright not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad.
