A scientist of European stature, a great teacher, and a passionate popularizer of the field of forensic biomechanics. The public has had the opportunity to meet him as a court expert in many cases. His analysis of the circumstances of the death of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Beneš government, Jan Masaryk, is well-known. He is a key figure for the VŠFS thanks to his scientific work and excellent publication activity. He serves as the head of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Disciplines and Vice-Dean for Science and Research of the Faculty of Legal and Administrative Studies.
