Concept of the conference

The conference will focus on the presentations and discussions regarding the dark and bright sides of inflation, price growth as a process, the role of central banks, the analysis of monetary policy, especially in the period of inflation growth, and the context of joining the European monetary union. Finally, the position of the central bank and the question of the independence of the Czech National Bank in the economy.

The structure of a paper

The structure of a contribution for acceptance is binding, namely in the following form:

  • Title of the contribution
  • Name of the author and co-author(s) (without academic degree titles)
  • Abstract (explain here the aim of the contribution, the methodology and main results)
  • Keywords
  • JEL Classification
  • The text of the contribution (shall correspond to the structure of a scientific article: introduction, theoretical solutions, objectives and methodology, results, discussion, conclusion)
  • List of references
  • Particulars about author(s) (name including academic degree titles, workplace, e-mail address)
  • Language of the conference: English

Conference proceedings and publication opportunities

Papers from the FT-2023 conference will again be published in a collection that will meet the registration requirements in Web of Science (Clarivate). The conference proceedings will be given an international standard book number (ISBN) and a library identifier (UDC).
All the participants will receive a certificate of participation. The conference proceedings will be available on the university web-site www.vsfs.cz/financialmarkets
