Scholarship program

The conditions for granting scholarships are settled in accordance with the Scholarship Regulations of the VSFS. Under the conditions and criteria of the Scholarship Regulations, students can qualify for merit and specific-purpose scholarships. Apart from these, within the frame of our scholarship program, we can offer extraordinary programs for children from children's homes and from alternative family care, and also for talented student candidates with physical disabilities.

Scholarship fund support

Scholarships for talented student candidates with physical disabilities

The University of Finance and Administrations offers a scholarship program for physically handicapped student candidates for Bachelor's and follow-up Master's degree study programs which covers partly or fully tuition fees during the whole study period at the VSFS. Students are selected by the scholarship committee in the selection procedure. The contribution from the scholarship program is linked to the proper fulfillment of the study duties according to the internal regulations of the school. The University of Finance and Administration provides technical and study support for physically handicapped students, enabling them to fully participate in the school life. The building in Estonská Street in Prague 10 and the Study Center in Most provide barrier-free entrance. 

Conditions required for enrolment into the scholarship selection procedure:

  • a filled-out application form
  • a short CV complemented by a motivation letter,
  • a certified copy of the school-leaving certificate,
  • a medical report, a photocopy of a  Disabled ID Card,
  • a test of study prerequisites according to the chosen study field.

Merit Scholarship

Merit Scholarship is granted to students in the full-time form of study for their outstanding study results achieved in the previous academic year, respectively in the previous study year. The amount of the scholarship is determined according to the arithmetic mean of the marks from all the examinations and the classified credits compiled in accordance with the approved study plan and the organization of the respective academic year. The arithmetic average of grades for scholarship eligibility must be between 1.0 and 1.30.

Special-purpose Scholarship

Special-purpose Scholarship is granted to students, for example, for their outstanding creative activity contributing to the deepening of knowledge, especially participation in a research project or activity, for a significant contribution to increasing the prestige promotion of the VŠFS, its successful representation and the like.

Social Scholarship (state-granted scholarship)

Social Scholarship can be granted to students who qualify for the benefit in accordance to the State Social Support Act. The scholarship is covered from the state budget.

Accommodation Scholarship (state-granted scholarship)

Accommodation Scholarship can be granted to students in the full-time form of study who do not have permanent residence in the region where they are studying. Further on, they have to comply with the conditions for granting accommodation scholarship in accordance to the Scholarship Regulations of The University of Finance and Administration. The scholarship is paid from the state budget.

Doctoral Scholarship

Doctoral Scholarship can be granted to students of doctoral study programs  in the full-time form of study based on a submitted written request. Each written request is decided by the Rector.
