Wednesday 25th 2014 – a memorable day for the Partnership of Schools. Though the anniversary party of the University of Finance and Administration, and of the Bank Academy was started by bad weather, and later transformed into a constant rain, our staff, students, graduates and partners were not at all discouraged and arrived at Žluté lázně in Prague-Podolí. They were rewarded not only by lively evening programme, which was crowned with a concert of Chinaski, but also the evening sun that was shining in full force, and a clear sky that lasted exactly for the final fireworks.

Satisfaction was brought to participants of all ages. Children´s day full of games and attractions lit the performance of children from the Magic (Nursery) School, turned into an improvised performance of little girls and boys. Thus the audience could hear the whole range of poems, songs and even admire small girls´ dancing talent. The morning Olympic Games of the Bank Academy proved the strengths and stamina of high school students in beach volleyball tournaments, table tenis, and pétanque.

Afternoon sports tournaments for adults were threatened mainly by bad weather, but thanks to perfect organization and enthusiasm of the participating sportsman/women at least beach volleyball tournament was finished, and in great atmosphere. Others could enjoy the afternoon concerts of bands SPB, Czech IT and a young talented singer Adéla Částková. Considering that they are all to a certain extent connected to the University of Finance and Administration, we can be looking forward to meeting them at some of our other events.

The evening programme was started by Vágner Family concert, continued with common singing of the band-master Karel Vágner and the rector of university. The highlight of the evening was the concert of Chinaski. Have a look at the photos! And then just birthday wishes to commomorate the 15th birthday of the University of Finance and Administration and the 20th birthday of the Bank Academy, and the party is over. The king is dead! Long live the king! Perhaps we will meet at the next social event, which is the annual ball. See you on 10th January next year – dressed up!
